You can refer to the Compliance Training information on the Training.fullerton.edu home page or see the chart below. This chart below will show information on which compliance trainings may be assigned to you. If you have a question about a particular course, you can contact the respective course owner.

How do I print a Certificate of Course Completion?

  1.  Log into the ETC
  2. Click on the 'Transcript' Tile to be taken to a full list of all courses that you have completed
  3. Click on the certificate icon to the left of the course to generate a certificate of completion
  4. Choose the Print or Export to PDF option

How do I check to see if I have overdue assignments?

To check if you have any overdue assignments, you can check your Assigned Learning tile in your ETC Homepage's Dashboard.

How do I log in to the Employee Training Center?

  1. Log on to your campus portal on the Fullerton homepage
  2. Under Apps (left hand panel) search and select Employee Training Center (ETC)
  3. Click on the Click on the ETC Login link
  4. You will arrive at the ETC dashboard

How do I register for a course?

  1. Search for your course in the ETC
  2. Click on Register
  3. Choose the date that fits your schedule, if it is an ILT (in-person learning training)
  4. Confirm your registration

How do I search for an online class?

To search for a course:

  1. Search for your course in the ETC
  2. Click on Register
  3. Confirm your registration

Please Note: For an optimal online training experience, it is recommended that you:

  1. Use Google Chrome
  2. Clear your browser's history, cache and cookies
  3. Disable your pop-up blockers for the course to launch

What do I do if I am not in the system?

  This could be due to a variety of reasons, as such we ask that you contact the Employee Training Center for assistance at employeetrainingcenter@fullerton.edu.

What if I receive an error message when I try to register?

We recommend that you login through the campus portalOpens in new window .

If you continue to get an error message, please take a screenshot and email it to employeetrainingcenter@fullerton.edu.

How do I cancel a class in which I have registered?

To cancel registration for a class:

  1. Log Into to the ETC and Access Your Assigned Learning 
  2. Click on the training you want to cancel
  3. Click on the vertical ellipses in the upper right corner of your training
  4. Click on Cancel Registration

What if my Employee Training Center data is incorrect?

For incorrect information such as email address, name, etc. please email hrms@fullerton.edu or 657-278-2425.

For any other incorrect information, please contact ETC at ext. 2064 or employeetrainingcenter@fullerton.edu.

What do I do if I can’t enroll in a class?

To enroll in a class, you must be a CSUF Faculty or Staff employee in the system.  If you encounter an error when registering, please take a screenshot and contact the Employee Training Center (ETC) at employeetrainingcenter@fullerton.edu for further assistance.

I already completed this training, why am I getting a notice to take it? 

  Most compliance trainings are recurring, please refer to the chart in the Compliance Training FAQ above.

This chart shows the required frequency for each compliance course.  

When I launch the training, I see a blank white window.

Please check that you are using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and have cleared your browsing history, cache and cookiesOpens in new window . You may need to enable pop-upsOpens in new window

When I launch the training, I see some squares and an 'In-progress" message.

 The training launches in two windows: the tracking screen and the training screen.  

Please be sure to leave both windows open during training and see the Online Training Windows guide for additional instructions and tips.

What if I go out on leave?

Training is available as early as 30 days prior to its due date.  Please complete any required training at your earliest convenience.  Notifications are automated and cannot be paused for your leave period.  

I am faculty and would like to complete training early.

Faculty will be granted access to the Employee Training Center (ETC) on or after their official start date.  This may or may not coincide with the first day of the semester.  

If you are faculty and you are experiencing difficulties access the ETC after your start date, please contact the Employee Training Center (ETC) at extension 2064 or email: employeetrainingcenter@fullerton.edu for assistance.

What if I took my assigned training at another CSU campus?

If you have completed training at another California State University, within the mandated timeframe and are able to provide proof, then you can request the course owner honor this training.  

How do I get access to the ETC?

Access is granted to faculty and staff (including student employees) upon HR's payroll entry.

Administrative Access is granted based on business needs and successful completion of the Administrative Access Online Training.  Administrative access allows users to run reports, assign trainings, create and schedules classes.

Note: The Employee Training Center (ETC) reserves the right to revoke Administrative access.  Failure to comply with the Employee Training Center (ETC) procedures may result in revocation of access.

Do I have to complete Defensive Driver's Program training if I don't drive?

The Defensive Driver Program training is assigned to all CSUF Employees (Facult, Staff,and Student Employees). If you do not drive on university business, you request the assignment to be waived. Please contact the course owner to request a waive. Note: Waiving is at the discretion of the course owner

Can I get credit for a course taken at another university?

You may request credit for a course taken at another univeristy. You must provide a certificate of completion for consideration to the course owner.
